Simply Connect String Light Neo Neon PLC
End of line range. Good quality contract grade string light with sealed LEDs on rubber cable which remains flexible on the coldest of days.
A plug starter cable is required for the first set. Subsequent sets can be added by using the weather proof connectors on the strings. A range of cable accessories are available should you to need to split, divide or extend at any point where you have a connection.
These lights should last for many years but well worth taking advantage of these great prices and buying a few sets extra to be used as spares for when the inevitable happens.

At least one plug starter cable is required to connect to the first set of string lights. See below for cable accessories.

LEDs are encapsulated in a silicon gel making them weather and damage resistant. The cable is attached to the LED and then surrounded with epoxy which securely holds the cable in place. The tough rubber cable stays flexible even on the coldest of days.

Very much a manufacturer's calculation but their table below shows that for most installations one starter cable will be sufficient. However we tend to split our displays over two or more starter cables for ease of installation and to make fault finding easier. We recommend dividing the installation into as many starter cables as is reasonably practical.

There is no definitive answer. As a general rule, the more lights you use the better the tree will look. You also have to consider where the tree is placed. Have a heavily density lit tree in certain areas may look too bright. When decorating a tree remember that if you put the lights deep into the middle of the tree you will achieve a good solid lighting effect as the lights will illuminate the tree itself.
Heavy Density - Allow 10 metres of string light for each 0.3 metre of decorated tree. Run lights up and down each branch. Most effective when only using lights for decoration.
Medium Density - Allow 10 metres of string light for each 0.5 metre of decorated tree. Run lights up and down major branches. Tree will look good but will benefit from other decoration, See our bauble and star listings.
Light Density - Allow 10 metres of string light for each 1 metre of decorated tree. Wrap the string lights around the branch tips in concentric circles. It you are solely relying on lights for all tree decoration this method will not be suitable.Your tree will look very sad. It is suitable for internally lit trees with lots of other decoration.
We secure the lights to exterior trees with 3.6mm wide cable ties between 160 and 200mm long. Black coloured ties can be used however natural/clear ties can be used and are easier to see when taking the lights off the tree. Other ties can be used however sandwich bag ties are not recommended as the metal strip can cut into the cable if the bag tie is twisted too tightly around the cable.
